Privacy Policy

Specpixel Entertainment PTY LTD (ABN available on request, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia — 'Specpixel', 'we', 'us') operates the specpixel.com platform, including client services, the contractor marketplace, the sales portal and the Creator Forge. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Account details (display name, email address, password hash), role and program records (academy progress, contracts, earnings, commissions), support and enquiry messages, and technical logs (IP address, user agent, audit trail of account actions).

Contractors completing identity verification provide a legal name, date of birth and a government ID document image. ID images are used solely for verification, stored encrypted, and permanently deleted after the retention window stated at upload time.

Payment card details are never seen or stored by us — all card processing is handled by Stripe. We store only transaction references, amounts and statuses.

To operate your account and the programs you join, to pay bounties, royalties, commissions and invoices, to meet legal and tax obligations (including records required by the ATO), to prevent fraud and enforce platform rules, and — only where you have not opted out — to send service and marketing messages you can unsubscribe from at any time.

We disclose personal information only to the processors needed to run the platform: Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), and our cloud hosting providers. Some of these processors store data outside Australia; we take reasonable steps to ensure they handle it consistently with the APPs (APP 8). We do not sell personal information to anyone.

You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you (APP 12/13) by emailing info@specpixel.com or opening a support ticket. You may also request account deletion; we will delete everything except records we are legally required to keep (for example tax and payment records).

If you believe we have breached the APPs, contact us first at info@specpixel.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
